Started last night, BBC Four has a whole weekend of eclectic programmes and films fronted by Keef and interspersed with clips of him musing on various matters through a fug of fag smoke. Continues all of tonight and Sunday night too.

Brilliant!

Among other things he shared his own recipe for shepherds pie last night, really! See....

Keef Pie

All available on BBC iPlayer obvs.

Oooo, the king of the lounge lizards.
Definitely sounds worth a look on catch-up.

Pie recipe looks good but I'd only use Branston Pickle as I have faithfully boycotted HP since the Cloggies got the job of making Britain's National Condiment.

And I like Richard Branston too.

At the time, Joe was better than most guitarists.

This Keithy weekend thing, its just shown a really rather good programme about London over the years. I've got tears in me eyes, ahhhhh, scuzzy old London, home, the city everyone loves to hate.

I know everyone hates "us" London types, but really - its an acquired taste. I quite often whinge about how I'd like to go back to NZ (or Auz now that Anita lives there) ... and have a more chilled-out beach lifestyle again.

But fuck me, I'd miss London.
Auckland is home-home. But London is proper 'ome now too, guv'nor.

*splutters*
Mick Jagger's blue skintight catsuit, though.
Not a lot left to the imagination.
I'm sure you could see the outline of his bell end.
