Some recommendations here and thank you.

Few days ago morning commute rush, when doing somewhere around speed limits on DC or more, on my way to work, suddenly the bike drive has gone.

I mean the bike still revving but nothing happens. I don't have tools so I have stopped roadside and called my mechanic Mel. 30 minutes later I am in the van recovered. £60 and two days later the bike is fixed. IMO that is excelent value for money service that inlcudes the fix and the recovery.

Front sprocket nut has given up. Lucky there has been no any other damage whatsoever.

Exactly at about 80ish mph and there was no damage at all I mean how lucky is that?

Actually I've changed the chain and the front sprocket myself about 4000 miles ago. I have changed the front sprocket nut and the washer too. After tightening the nut to the specs with torque wrench you need to bend the washer. It has pre-bend grooves. The washer has moved when tightening the nut and the grooves were on the wrong place to bend fully. I just left it the way it is because too lazy to untighten and make it right. 4000 miles later - results Laughing
