I need to fix the plastic hood on my tank.

My fat cats have been sleeping on it and broken the support int eh centre that supports the lid flap.

Needs to be something pretty strong because fat cats are fat.

Epoxy resin would make sense. Once it's set, it's pretty much inert. You make boats out of it.

Araldite is the most commonly available.
