Tried to watch this 'live' over the weekend....got bored...turned the telly off. The BSB series was the 'feeder series' for WSB....it's now turned into the care home for ex-WSB competitors and never-wozzers. 30 and 40-odd year-old riders leading the 'pack' ?, where the hell are the 'young bloods', the winners of tomorrow ?. When 'Shakey' Byrne was in WSB he was damn' lucky to end up in the first 12, he's fortunate now to be a big fish in a small pond and not what he previously was.

I've been enjoying it so far, Eurosport shows most laps.

Surprised to see the old Hondas doing well, bit of a travesty that Honda haven't made anything worth upgradig to since about 2008 though.

I have to disagree and say I think bsb is better than wsb any day of the week.. 12 superbikes covered by less than 2 seconds at assen .. What's not to like. Plenty of young guns in about it with bright futures ahead

Also shakeys qualifying time was quicker than both factory ducatis this year at wsb. And would have had him 2nd on the grid. His team mate glen Irwin (rookie) qualified 12th .2 off the lap record that would have had him 7th on the wsb grid
