coming up this hill at 80-85

ive done it a million times, stuck my knee out.. had a little drag and then suddenly my rear wheel let go.. fuck...

i slid for a bit.. then i started to roll... my left arm dislocated and began flapping around like a ragdoll was hilarious, managed to grab my arm and hold it in for the rest of the rolling..

finally came to a stop and laid on the floor wondering how badass it looked and how i was alive, tried to get up but obviously left arm was fucked and i ended up just spinning round on my knee slider failing so 2 guys helped me up.. by grabbing me under my arms.. which then put my left shoulder back in.. sort of... looked up to see bike had gone miles up the road and come to a stop against a roadside barrier.

limped home and went to hospital who said go to a&e my arms not in properly...

yay.

4 hours later i was discharged in a metric fuck ton of pain.

damage to bike:
screen and fairing on right side, bar end, mirror exploded, exhaust ground down, indicator fucked.. so all in all.. not bad!

damage to me:
Road rash on my right arm, left arm dislocation, cut on my left hand, cut and bruising on right hand.

damage to leathers: FUCKED worn through in places.

red where i slid out and blue where bike stopped, i was about half way between the 2.

disclaimer: i know i was as stupid cunt, i paid the price, lucky not to have deaded myself.

Good job on being undead. Did you slide though any traffic?

Water droplets on the bike. I bet this wouldn't have happened if you'd been able to see clearly out of your visor. Whistle

Seems like you and the bike got away very lightly for an 80mph crash on a public road to be honest, I'd go and buy a lottery ticket!

Hopefully you and the bike will be fixed up soon enough Thumbs Up

i dont know about the bike, when it stopped there was a car infront and one behind it.. was such a dick move doing it there but i learnt my lesson!

it rained on the way back but i agree, if i could see clearer id have seen whatever made me come off.. if only the road ahead was clear.

Glad you survived bud. Hope the 'Storm is okay, at least it had a nice bit of road to slide down; sliding is better than hitting!

Look on the bright side; you've got a Lethal Weapon style shoulder injury to impress chicks with!

Well being in Folkstone ill hazard a guess.....

An illegal immigrant fresh from his inflatable dingy, dashed stealthily from one side of the road to the other... right in front of our biker friend.

Bloody foreigners, coming over here causing accidents!!

Then again.... i could be totally wrong Razz

85mph crash. Rider and bike come away with apparent and relative minor damage ('though I'm sure you're hurting like a mofo). I'd be quite satisfied at the outcome. Albeit a bit pi$$ed off that it happened in the first place.

GWS dude. Thumbs Up
