I've tried to keep out of the gutter lately (comments above notwithstanding) on new pr4's, and I've not been screwed lately. I've also not had any foreign objects pierce my tyres either.

Thanks to fretgrinder on here he helped me get this out and another nail that went into the rear tyre. This one didn't even puncture the actual tyre the other did. The tyre has been fine since.

That's not much further out than the one I plugged on my track bike.
6 track days later and not had any issue so doubt you'd have trouble on the road (although I've done 4-5 on tires used on the road)...

£5 for a silly string kit... profit?

(disclaimer, not 100% guaranteed to work but I'm yet to come across a hole I couldn't fill to my own/the owners satisfaction Folded arms )
