Highly Modified NSR125 tyre question

Hi I have an NSR125, yes small bike dont waste money etc

but its a project of mine, I currently have an NSR125 with upside down forks (Aprilia RS125). obviously the aprilia wheel(110) is thicker than the NSRs.

Now I believe (correct me if im wrong) NSR rear is a 130 which has been sitting for too long and has a flat spot anyway, could I squeeze a 140 on here?

as I thought given the extra on the front the extra on the back may help.

Yes. I fitted a 140 Dunlop GPR70 old YPM race tyre to one of mine. There was a Dunlop D209GP which was designed for the Aprilia Superteens Championship. This was a 150, but actually fitted a 3.5" rim quite well too.

140 should be fine if it's the Foxeye model with a 3.5" rim.

Thanks for the reply, yes its the foxeye with the 3.5.

might not make the front look so huge with it on there.

The Yamaha TZR250's in the Yamaha Past Masters championship run the same 3.5" 17" rear. I'm not sure what the tyres of choice are lately, but a quick look on their forum will show.
