There's nothing special about Sinnis bikes, or the SP. It's just another cheaply made basic Chinese commuter.
Your money would be better spent on a YBR125 or even a good condition CBF125 if you can find one.
If you can find a used Chinese branded bike, it's not a crazy proposition, but I certainly wouldn't seek out any particular brand or model, I'd just go for whatever running bike I could get for the least possible money.

May be what you want, but I suspect you may have to recalibrate your expectations a little in the face of 'reality'.
Bikes make up less than 1% of road transport. Gov't figures suggest there are only 1.25 million motrorcycles of all classes and capacities, taxed, MOT'd & Insured and available for use, in the WHOLE country.
Learner Legals less than half that; over half of them are 50cc's, and 2/3 scooters.... that doesn't provide an awfully large number of geared 125's to choose from, let alone, a specific make and model, in a specific price range, in a pretty small geographic region!!!!
Top seller, according to MCI stats, is as ever Honda, who sold something in the order of 50,000 motorcycles this year, or all types. Yamaha are next, followed by Lexmoto. Lets see.... oh, sorry I cant... Sinnis is such a minor brand they dont even get on the list....
SO, matey, lets look at the odds here; 1.25 million motorcycles in the country; aprox 500,000 under 125cc; 250,000 of them mopeds. leaves 250,000 125's, of which about 17,000 will be scooters; leaves you about 7,000 geared 125 motorcycles that could be for sale. typically changing owners every 2 years, that means only half might be offered for sale this year, 1/24th this month... that means there is probably no more than 300 2nd hand, geared 125cc bikes currently 'for sale' the length and breadth of the country... most of those by market share will be Honda's, followed by Yamaha's followed by Lexmoto's; who between them probably account for two thirds or more of all.
Leaves you something like, 50-100 2nd hand geared 125's currently 'for sale', that aren't top selling Honda, Yamaha or Lexmoto's.... and is made up of how many old Suzuki's, Kawasaki's, Hyosung's, more obscure brands like AJS or Superbyke or Hongduka etc etc etc...
You have MAYBE a 1 in 500 chance there will be ANY-ONE selling one, ANYWHERE in the country right now. And you are looking at an area how big?
Your odds are tending from optimistic to nie on delusional.
IF you want ANY geared 125 at all, you need to rethink just how many are actually available for you to buy in this country; then how thinly they are spread about the country; and widen your search criteria a LOT.... or you are likely to be doing a lot of searching and a lot of waiting for this bike to come along... then be damn quick with cash in your hands to get to it and buy it before any one else does if it ever does!
