So, would anyone like to list all the ways in which this year has sucked total donkey balls.

We can compile it.

Just for added fun, 2016, the year;

The King of Thailand finally dies, which will surely plunge the country in to yet more immature Game of Thrones-esque bullshittery.

The cold war is clearly back on.

The pound is worth less than chocolate coins.

Brexit allows Americans to call US stupid.

Any more?

Bad year for BCF.

No where near enough 'do you nod your twisted subframe to 4 thou' threads.

There's been no need to give anyone 5 ponds in months either.

But you said, or implied, for driving in. What's good about driving around the suburbs of London? My recollection of nice long, twisty, traffic free lanes fails me Laughing

Meh.

It's been a fucking awesome year for motorcycling.

I've had more good weekends of riding my motorcycle like a complete twat on warm, dry roads than I've had for many years. I've only had my waterproofs on a couple of times and haven't worn my winter gloves since the Dragon Rally in February.

The Halloween/Bonfire Night/Christmas tedium begins now Puke

But that happens every year..

The Olympics - being two weeks of sport - was bollocks and was quickly followed by two weeks of Cripplimpics bollocks.

And 'Bakeoff' moved to Channel 4 Shocked surely this eclipses all the badness in the world.

None.

2016 has been an awesome year for me because I made it happen that way. I live in my own little bubble with my small group of friends and family who I am grateful to have around.

I did my first motorbike tour this year, I saw beauty that I never believed was possible in Europe in both the people and the scenery/roads.

I started my own business because I am incapable of dealing with the bollocks of middle management, it's hard work but gratifying and I get out exactly what I put in.

I may have had a few drinks but I have recently realised that I'm quite content in the life that I have built for myself and my family

Keep your pecker up folks Thumbs Up

Is it me, or do Americans spend 3 of their 4 year presidential terms campaigning and voting for the next one? Or was it just this year and it seems longer?

Same here, had a cracking year. Finally broke my Euro tour cherry, two good mini tours to Scotland and lots of day trips exploring my new surroundings here in the north. If I can achieve as much next year, I'll be very happy.

No point in worrying about the things you can't change - even the collapse of the pound and likely resultant inflation - just have to find a way to muck on through. It'll certainly set me some challenges for next year, but I'll get through it all somehow.

So, people pretending 2016 was ok, and I am just some type of weirdo.

Well, John Oliver just did a bit on it.

2016 can fuck off

So yeh.
