BMW's Future Bike..

I've not seen this on here yet, forgive me if a repost..

I'm not sure if I would trust a machine to stop quickly enough if I'm pulled out on, but slow enough to stop me flying off. Would it know it needs to slow down if it's passing a load of cars in a queue at the lights?

but you need to wear a suit that talks to the bike.
suspension and steering done with flexing of the frame.
tyres will have "versatile profile that can adapt to different conditions"
electric motor that will change shape to look like a boxer twin.

Because in the future there will be no stones kicked up by other vehicles, and the bees will be extinct so getting a bee to the face at motorway speed will not happen. What I like best about my lotek helmet is the way it protects me from the rain and hail. And pigeons.

^Exactly like that 1934 R7. They did it blatantly, in the full knowledge of their company's history. The message in that advert is clear - look out of the window and you see the urban sprawl and the sociological disaster that is the impure and decadent product of the under-people. The sociopath 'wakes up', sees all that's wrong, and disdainfully soars to the higher ground on her black (inverted) Pegasus, to where the old gods roam. Who rides so late through night and wind? It's a broad-shouldered, sexually ambiguous post-human rider, free from moral encumbrance and the excessive beer in German philosophy.

The trick is, of course, that this vision is defeated by the question of who, or what, the destination is, and in which direction (or should I say, orientation), i.e. does the rider know the destination he/she wants, and does he/she reach it? Does Tristram reunite with Isolde? The child in Goethe's poem ends up dead - this theme was explored in 1960s surrealism. It has some sort of connection with Neoplatonism viewed through a Wagnerian lens, whereby all things reach their 'perfection', or even consummation, and for heros that means they must become purified by their own demise.
