Hi my bike has undergone lots of changes and now has upside down forks and was hoping to get a matching caliper for the back.

As it is I have a brembo on the front and wanted to get one on the back.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a brembo caliper that would fit on the existing mounting?

Thanks in Advance

Probably an all-round better option...

Often bikes are the other away around - Brembo rear brake, but other front brake.

yeah due to now having aprilia forks was easier getting the brembo.

I think I may just stick with the original NSR one at the back

NSR 125 track bike?
I have an NSR knocking about... Where the heck are you taking this machine?

Am really tempted to take it to the usual track days just for a giggle but I would just be a hazard around all the litre bike track day heros :-\

Derestricted NSR should still do ok, especially on a tighter track if you're decent in the corners.

Hi

Thought it was just a Grimeca copy of a Brembo basic twin opposed piston caliper. If so fairly standard on a lot of bikes.

All the best

Katy

Hi,
have you posted anywhere, your mods?
Genuinely Interested.
I have a "spare" jc22 & fancy fitting some usd's (maybe mito front end) & fitting better brakes, rear shock etc but need some clues/inspiration.

cheers,
GAZ
ps: apologies if this has been asked before (especially if it was me that asked Smile )

Hi Katy, thanks for the reply, the brembos that I have seen online the mounting points seem to be further than the NSRs.

I agree, it wouldn't be to bad at all however I've only really ridden at Bedford Aerodrome and Snetterton both with plenty of straights :-\

Will be trying out Rockingham this weekend, should be interesting Very Happy

Gazdaman who used to post on here did his first trackday on a stock MZ250.
They do race them, but typically with some tuning and better tyres. He had tyres that were squarer than some car tyres and a stock engine that despite being a 250 2 stroke, with no expansion chamber probably made less than a NSR in good state.
This was old Snetterton (similar to 200); he was still managing to go past lots of people at Corams etc.

I did Bedford SW configuration and that's got a really, REALLY long straight - reckon I was topped out at 146 (my bike is downgeared a bit) for about half a kilometre and was still getting used to the track!

Not sure which ones you have seen. I mean the older style ones, such as this one used on the Cagiva Freccia:-

If you can measure if I can check one I have floating around.

All the best

Katy
