Vaguely fun for a few days until I ran out of Pokeballs.

The nearest Poke Stop to me is ~1km away and doesn't actually exist. The Poke Stop does, the actual establishment closed a few months back.

It's also pretty silly that locking my phone disables the app.

I think it'd be better if they chose arbitrary landmarks for stops rather than favouring those that live in cities. A walk in the mountains vs. a walk around Oxford Street...

Evolved my Magikarps for a Gyarados.

Getting a bit fed up of it though, not find anything new. Current got 82 different types so loads left but cant find any

Living in a large(ish) town with plenty of surrounding towns does help a lot with having plenty of stops to get items.

Im up to having 121 of the 150 or so In total, only region specific one I have is Mr Mime.

I have noticed the decline in users since launch and it really is just the same old faces now (who we are all pretty much on first name terms with).

They've got something nice going on for Halloween (from now until 1st Nov)

Double candies when hatching eggs
Buddy walking distances greatly reduced
Lots more ghost type Pokemon around

I'm still trying to catch them all.... wife and I still battle around but there are a lot more Level 10 gyms around for long periods now.

Caught so many ghosties and cubones/marowaks! Finally got a Gengar and loving these extra candies. Just did an epic evolution session with a lucky egg for 60k odd exp. Bumped me up a fair way to level 24... Its such a grind otherwise...

i'm getting very little out of the halloween bonus as I catch ghastlys and cubones at work fairly often regardless.

one of the main things that bothers me about pokemon go is it was advertised and marketed as a 'go out and explore and catch pokemon' kinda thing, however in rural explory areas there are no pokemon as there are no pokestops meaning instead of people exploring they can just sit in Mcdonalds in a city centre munching a burger and catch more than someone who actually goes out...

OK, anyone still going on it?

I'm now just a few evolutions XP away from level 27.

My highest CP is a level 2221 Vaporean, closely followed by a 2034 Rhydon and then another few Vaporeons, a Jolteon and Flareon all close to 1900.

I've seen 143 and caught 130. Some of my rarer catches are Tauros (from an American) and Kangaskhan (from an Australian), also got all the new baby pokemon apart from Togepi.

Haven't got many of the heavy hitters, like Dragonite or Lapras. I did catch a wild Snorlax but it was around 200 CP. Bugger.

Been hoarding Charmanders, Bulbasaurs and Squirtles enough now to finally evolve to get a Charizard and Venusaur (have a level 1200 Blastoise already), but have enough candy with the new year's event to both power up all the starters and then evolve twice again.

Highest CP is a 2236 Vaporean, followed by a 1885 Cloyster, 1878 Exeggutor and 1856 Vaporean. I find Evee's really hard to find

Caught 110 and seen 137, not sure what my rares are (Hitmonlee, Scyther, Kabutops)?

No heavy hitters either

Only just sparted spotting Charmanders, Bulbasaurs and more Squirltes over the last couple of days and still way off evolving anything, although I already have a Charmeleon

Caught quite a lot of the Santa Pikachu, and now have 2 Raichu that I've evolved from the best 2

I'm still playing, currently at level 23 and saving up for another pidgey grind session to get into level 24. I've caught a bunch of the starter pokemon recently but I have a 2287 Snorlax in a gym, a 2239 Snorlax that has just been kicked out of another gym plus a 1864 Rydon and then a bunch of Vaporeon, Flareon and Jolteon that I need to power up.

Hatched my first two babies this morning from 10k eggs which I am pretty pleased about. Caught 111 but seen 121.

How do you catch the continent specific ones?

Ah yes, I got loads of Santa Pikachus too, over 50 and have 2 nice Raichus now aswell. Also hatched a Pichu so just need the Togepi now to complete my Gen 2 baby set.

Caught a 1575 Charizard last night which I was very happy about, and have enough to evolve my Charmeleon too so done nicely out of the new year's event! Need a magikarp event next

For the regionals, there are some facebook groups that offer some assistance... "Pokemon go region locked caught here" being one of them

I got bored of this before xmas at some time.

got everything other than the new gen 2 ones or the aerodactyl.

Have multiple 2700+ CP Gyrados and 2500cp Snorlax and all the other big hitters.

Ive noticed a lot more pokemon are fleeing, is that a widespread thing or does it happen as you level up? Also its quite glitchy at times like when I am going to catch something and it pops up wih an error. Ive lost loads that way, they don't show up again if you reload the app.

I have joined a certain FB page

I went out for a quick walk round the block today and had two pidgey's, three zubat's, a mr mine, a squirtle and a charmander flee so it doesn't appear to be just starter ones for me.... Still I trained at the gym nearby and boosted it up to level 7 so shoved my snorlax back in there. Not bad for half an hour I guess?
