Hi all,

Anyone fitted a taco to a Cagiva raptor/planet 125?

Or anyone fitted a taco to a bike that doesn't have one as standard for that matter...

Just interested to see how much effort they are to fit?

Cheers in advance,

Tom

Wouldn't the filling fall out?

No, but it's probably similar to fitting a burrito.

A tachometer is one of those things you really want when you don't have one and completely ignore when you do.

Why would you want to add weight to bike that isn't endowed with power anyway?

If you really want one one can use one that picks up from the HT lead (usually shite) OR fit an aftermarket ignition that has a take off for one.

Simple enough

After market taco (rev counter) or separate from older bike either way electronic not cable
power up pulse come from negative side of coil but be prepared to experiment

Yes I don this a few times

I fitted one one of them aftermarket meters to my old Suffolk Punch lawn mower

You wrap a wired around one of the HT leads

seems to work a treat

Yeah, what he said
Removed mine years ago and have never found any good reason
to fit another.

Plenty of easy to fit options.

Even easier and cheaper might be just marking points on the speedo for redline in each gear.
