dunno how you feel about scooters on here seeing as most of you are into bigger bikes, anyways what sort of true spped would a standard gilera runner vxr200 achieve?

Divuk will probably know as I believe he races them I think. I'm guessing they are pretty darn nippy. Smile

The VXR 200 is a 4 stroke, but is still a good scoot, reliable motor and will top out at an indicated 85-90. Cant match the acceleration and tuning potential of the smokers but there great for putting huge amounts of miles on. Tank size is 12 litres again and you should get further on that than you would on the two stroke versions. Panels and parts are easy to get hold of for them so no worrys about sourcing parts.

being a runner owner, That would give you about 90 mph standard and will lift on full acceleration Thumbs Up the 180 is pretty quick even better with the new 210cc bore in it.

Best one to get is the mattblack carbon Very Happy

The 4 stroke one wont try and lift on the power, but they have much smoother acceleration than the smokers. There is a 210kit for the VXR200 and the VX125. The two strokes have a 172 malossi and a 210 fabrizi kit available for them, but the fabrizi is silly money and the 172 is the preference of all the UK tuners as you can get more power from it, although not many people have even tried fitting it as its expensive and the casings need modding to have it fitted.
