ok here it is Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad
i have ordered a nsr 125 r, it was ready for me this wednesday, i am part exchanging it for my speedfight 2 with only a few £££'s left on the speedfight, the nsr 125 is immaculate! 2003 model for £2500
any one i wake up this morning to find that life is truly shit and my moped has been stolen!!!!!! so i call the police and the take about 2 hours, i can get a fekkin dominos pizza faster! when they leave i walk around the block only to find it stood down an alley, looking MINT. as i got closer i see the damage, front panels totally ripped off, inside sterring lock wrenched out, all my wiring has been pulled out and chucked over a fence which i found. scratches down all panels. so i am just praying my insurance people will class it as a write off and give me my money for it, then i can still get my nsr 125 on wednesday. How pathetic are people, i work all the hours i can and grafted to get this bike then some dickless shits go and rob it, please dont give me bad karma because of my language but this is bad!

Perhaps you should "make" it a write off?

...Empty the oil, run the engine till it seizes.

I would.

Buy the NSR on a credit card or on a loan of a friend on Wed still and get the money back for your scooter later.

To be sure it gets written off, give it a bit of a hammering, bend forks etc.

Mate of mine done it when really it was just 2 fucked panels, got the full 1600 quid back, good luck.

Have some fun with it, learn a few wheelies, if you can't already, try knee down etc.

well the thing is i was going to totally fuck the front up of it, and really make it a write off but i need to ask if my insurance do actualyl pay it out for a write off, how crap would it be if i were to smash it up and go to claim and they just say "owned" Sad

Well explain the story to them, tell them you think its a write off, but dont do any extra damage.

If they say they will pay out (i.e. you are covered) then seize the engine up and possibly do some other damage to make sure you just get a quick payment instead of some long repairs which will screw up your NSR plan.

Ride it into a wall etc, obviously slow enough to not hurt you, to bend the forks, they see bent forks and they love it, they nearly always write it off.

Id just lay it on the side and take a sledge hammer to the back wheel and front forks.

When you said exchange for a bike and so did you show anybody your Speedfight recently because maybe it was the person you showed around it that actually nicked it. They maybe wanted to know if it had an alarm on it ?

you had a wheel lock on it and they ripped it off? erm.. isnt the idea of getting a lock so that anyone CANT nick the bike? if you know who it is or mabe after you get the finger prints back then find out who it is then go around their place with a few of your mates and a few base ball bats and... need i say anymore? thats what i would do... but then most people arnt as extreme as me Twisted Evil or wait till they work as long and as hard as you for something then destroy it Mr. Green
hope you get your nsr anyway.

the police won't do anythin just say ''we will deal with it'' But just get's out at the back.

If it's not chained down to anyhing they just carry it being a moped it take's at least 2 people.
Then most of the time they don't know waht there doing and just ripp the wire's out, Then leave it in a field etc

Uh btw dude if it was chavs, take fucking good care of your NSR, they will love to have a go on that.

Get yourself three (different kinds!) of cheap disc locks off ebay for £5-£10 each and put all three on, but put one on the rear disc, get some kind of alarm and if I was you I would splice the wires to the kill switch and add a second kill switch to stop them starting the engine.

Do all of the above and there is a 99.5% chance that the only way someone can steal your bike is with a transit van, and they probably wouldnt do that for an NSR as it doesnt have high enough resale value.

They are total C**KS. WHY steal a speedfight when the KNOW they cant get the started!

It gets on my nerves too. My mate had his speedfight nicked, riped apart and dumped because they couldnt start it. THey have one of the best factory fitted immobilisers out of all the other moped companies...

I would defonatly ring your insurance, say the front is bent in, and ask them if they can write it off. If they say yes then stick all your gear on and roll down a big hill, Ghostie the bike right before a wall and BABOOM! You have a write off...

I doubt you will beable to seize the engine as they have riped all your wiring out...

Having a claim for a write off will cancel your insurance.
It may also put your insurance up a fair bit.

It will most probably take a considerable amount of time to go through.

Personally I think you would be better off either asking how much they will take for it now, or getting the extra yourself somehow then repairing and selling the scooter.

If you sell the scooter as is, you may actually not come out to badly either... ie only need to make up a bit of money.

If you are going the write off route, a scratch on the frame will do it often, as labour charges will be stupid.

Agree,
My insurance was about 7 month's before i got anything, And you get load's of letter's and form from all diffrent insurance group's you've never heard of.
They will try and buy it off you(not much) if it's a write off, They offerd to by mine or something like that
Is there anyway of coming up with the money that they was going to buy your scooter for.
Thing that makes me stressed now is that this is all HASSLE you shouldn't be doing this. How bad is it, Put it on ebay, You never know Thumbs Up
