Just bought a new iWank device, was hoping it would be on an older ver. of iOS but it's on 10.02. Just spent ages reading through a lot of information, it looks like the last version you could jailbreak was 9.3.3?

Also downgrading looks out of the question, 10.02 isn't even signed anymore.

I found a downgrading guide on there earlier, that used a piece of software which hasn't worked for 2 years Rolling Eyes

No need to jailbreak.

Apple just works, and the ecosystem is far superior to anything ever before. No need to tamper.

For what reason? There shouldn't be anything you need to do that's not already available.

Why try and break what Apple have already produced and deemed reliable, and safe?

Backing up app data, something apple doesn't seem bothered about.

Decent apps have data back up options built in.

What ones? I've never seen any games with them, and even music production apps like figure you can't.

Why not just do what Apple want? After all it's what you pay for. To be told what you like by the experts.

It's the best way to make a reliable product.

It's why they don't run like shit and crash all the time like android devices.

I do agree with that to be honest, I am more into my tinkering though

That doesn't make it "shite" though. Your original post is therefore not very accurate, and feels a bit like fanboy-ism

Well I had an iPhone as a work phone once and couldn't get on with it,
Would never have one as my personal phone, can I download emulators or streaming apps to an I phone? (showbox, Kodi)
Serious question,

I did feel it ran nice and smooth though, I just prefer being able to have all my music and games on a micro SD card and they just work on my xperia Z5

What I like is being able to use the apps I bought. An update (to iOS) broke Tony Hawks 2, it would freeze on loading, which you could fix by deleting the opening video but guess what... you need sandbox access.

On the phone side I'll be switching back to android when my iPhone dies, as I'm not interested in paying the apple premium for extra storage.

So a 6 year old app (2010 release). Produced for an OS that is 6 versions old (iOS4). That the developers removed from sale 2 years ago (2014), as they had previously abandoned it 1 year earlier in 2013.

It is somehow Apples fault?

It's apples fault for removing basic functionality from their devices. The app stopped working, it was still on sale, then the developer went under (iirc) which's when it was removed.

I don't care how old it's either (it's an old game), I paid for it, and it still works fine except for the loading glitch.

I fucking hate microsoft. I bought a game for XBox 360. Now it won't work on the XBox one. What kind of shit is this?

How can I modify it to make it work?

What? I'm talking about the same sodding device, that a software update broke. That's the sort of shit you expect on android.

Also it shows how much you know, the Xbox One has backwards compatibility with the 360 Rolling Eyes

No it doesn't. Selected 360 games are ported over.

iOS 7 that killed the game, dropped support for the devices that originally came with iOS 4, due to hardware limitations.

It's also not the same device, since iOS 7 killed it, we can assume it worked on iOS6. The newest device available is the iPhone 5. So unless this new device you have bought is an iPhone 5 the argument is irrelevant. The game was designed to run on an iPhone 3G. You're trying to run it I assume on a 6s/7/se

You're bawwwwing that an obsolete piece of software, made for an obsolete operating system, for an obsolete piece of hardware. No longer works.
