So, as we're just about to enter December, what has been your best purchase this year.
I haven't really bought much bike related but a few things come to mind, namely Uncharted 4, a Craghoppers jacket and a £3 telescopic back scratcher.
I literally live on the edge.

LED colour changing shower head. Green means cold, blue means just right and red means too hot.

In another thread, I wrote:
Spada textile jacket £10, new price about £90
Revit textile jeans £10, new price about £100
Sidi boots £20, new price about £160
Sidi leather trousers £7.50, new price about £250

All lightly used/never worn. That's about £600 quids worth of stuff for £47.50.

Dance!

A RenaultSport Megane 275 Cup-S. Only my second ever new car after a previous RS Megane in 2007. It's lovely and came with a full titanium Akrapovic exhaust system with a carbon trim. 30-odd percent off through work.

Surely you won't actually know if it's a 'Best Buy' until you're owned/ridden it for a while.

Worth it for the it's looks and V4 soundtrack alone.

It will break down.

But I don't care Laughing

Still a few weeks to go and an ISA matures very soon. Thumbs Up

Just scrolled through the 'What was the last thing you bought?' thread and see I've been quite restrained in 2016.

In order of awesomeness.

Pressure washer
Hugger
Rearset bracket
Guitar FX pedal
2 fancy guitar picks.

Didn't you buy the MV this year? Very restrained Laughing

Way back in January, Street Triple, and shed for both bikes.
And a ticket.
For the Grossglockner Mr. Green

November 2015 for the MV...oh I did splurge £15 on a 1:10 scale model of it.

Tough one.

Probably my KTM - as it's encouraged me to get out and ride; did more miles on it in summer than I did in nearly 2 years on its predecessor. Shame it's broken now though Laughing.

Outside of bikes, I'd go with the track driver training day I had in the 911. Whole day of deliberately losing control and learning how best to get back into control, plus advanced driver techniques. Expensive as it was ~£300 and I practically did a set of tyres Laughing but so worth it.

You may care when it's the 5th breakdown in a month and your standing in the pissing rain that you should have been home before...

I think you're probably right that it's probably a great bike.
But only time will tell Cool

@chickenstrip
As you know I have many many distractions to help me through the winter. If you're getting S.A.D now why not book a few days in Spain and hire a runabout?

[edit] If you're at the slitting the wrists stage you're more than welcome to hop on a train and stay with us for a weekend of 6 string abuse. Cool
