See channel 5 have got the rights to wsb this year.
This couldve been a good thing but for the fact theyre only showing highlights and thats on there sunday night sport show after 1am when everyones in bed.
Why did they even bother.
Shouldve left it with the BBC, at least they screened it at a reasonable time.
I've already emailed them to let them know my thoughts.
Anyone else feels the same suggest they do to.

Are Channel 5 not going to show the British Rounds Live?

An American company bought the rights to the WSB from 2005 to 2007 for their Speed Channel. Channel 5 is only airing the highlights while Eurosport gets to air 2005 season live and so maybe channel 5 is more interested in spending money for live coverage of US footbal and baseball rather than motorsports as MotorsTV and Eurosport have already cornered the market in that area.

Eurosport covers motorbike racing far superior to the BBC.

I watched Motogp 2004 on Eurosport and one day put SBK on on the BBC... No sound what so ever, they couldnt afford trackside microphones? And they had about 2 cameras for the entire track, about 1 onboard camera and no sweeping cameras. The commentators sounded bored and mainly talked about the race in exactly the same tone and style as they talk about cricket or snooker.

No wonder F1 racing is far more popular than bike racing. Thank god Eurosport isnt a shit thick as the BBC!

The Eurosport coverage is spot on so imho this is a very good piece of news.
