Oooohhh you're going to love this you grumpy old farts!!!!!!

I've just collected an ebay haul of mini moto project parts.

£30 got me:
> 6 Crankcases
> 8 Cylinder Heads
> 11 Piston Heads
> 2 Piston Rings
> 8 Connecting Rods
> 16 Reed Valves
> 7 Clutches
> 32 Carb Floats
> 18 Carb Float Bowls
> 11 Carb bodies
> 2 Spark Plugs
> 6 Frames
> 3 Fairings
> 15 Wheels
> 1 1/2 Chains
> 10 Fuel Tanks
> 7 Exhausts
> 2 crates of nuts and bolts mixed in with broken tools etc
> 2 springs
etc etc etc (got bored of counting)

I'm fairly certain that if I weighed it in this lot might get me enough dosh to buy a working mini moto... but where's the fun in that???

My plan is to build as many mini motos as I can from this pile....

...before Christmas.

P S Told you you'd love it!!!!!!

I have taken the first step.

Having never seen a mini moto in the flesh before, I decided to print out a photo of one to put on the wall in my living room (read: workshop).

Inspired I know.

I also found this useful diagram online:

And the very best of luck to you.

Have you thought that the reason that the parts are not fitted to bike is that they are all knackered to some extent?

I think that these may be your limiting factor on the number of working examples...

Little known fact shaggy, over the festive period a minimoto chain can be substituted for a shiny red and green paper chain. He'll be able to make lots more than 1.
