Scheduled for tomorrow.
(I used to be confused but now I'm not so sure)
My Oxford Honda Owners Club gave the start time as just after 12 noon at the Foster Wheeler Building (formerly Shire Hall). The website says 1pm. The website's twitter feed has someone mentioning 2 pm.
I am tempted to go by the website time of 1 pm but I hope I will not be parked up in full Santa regalia, alone, like an idiot....lol.....
Anyone on here in the know?
(P.S. the Santa regalia was just a joke - the last time I had one of my bikes decorated with Xmas streamers etc I ended up on my @rse after a van jumped the lights on the A4 at the Manor Court Road junction. I am somewhat superstitious)

When I've done it before I've stood around for at least an hour. If you're late you won't be able to get in to the car park. If I were you I'd probably go about 12:30 and then hang around for a bit until the run starts.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

While I admire the aim, standing around for a couple of hours then riding across Reading at a snails pace is something I won't be doing again anytime soon. Add in Easter egg rides, Unity ride(think that ones dead) etc. These events are amazingly popular but not for me!

Yeah meet early and decorate yer bike for the full effect!

Cheers MarJay!
A bit like the Egg Run I went on last year, starting at Tilehurst. It was jam packed quite a while before getting under way.
Many thanks for the quick response!

Well, in the event I took the plunge and adorned the bike with just 4 pieces of tinsell. One on the end of each lever, the other two on the rear grab rail just under the seat. Stayed on throughout the run and I've left them on for tomorrow's H Cafe Oxford Radcliffe toy run. May add some more but I have been warned that the H boys get a bit of a move on up the DC twixt Nuneham and Heyford hill so I'll keep a low profile lol.
