New connection conundrum.

So I have a Samsung 6400 TV, I have a Nexus 7 (2nd edition) tablet and I'd like to use the TV as a monitor to watch motogp, however the connections seems to be somewhat complicated. Easiest would be to look at a cable from micro usb to hdmi but there appear to be conflicting info on the net as to whether its possible or not. Different types of cable are recommended, then others say it's not possible.


So I look at mirroring but again conflicting info on which works which doesn't, you can do it, it can't be done etc etc.

Anyone know the definitive answer as to how/if I can do this?

i use a fire stick with kodi on it. That will allow me to mirror stuff.

Chromecast works too

I would go for Chromecast too, most logical solution for what you're trying to do. Pretty cheap as well, about £20?

If you just pull down the top of the screen in Android, there is usually a 'Cast Screen' icon for you to press.

The option I go into on my LG TV is 'Mirroring'

Same here. This weekend I have been watching the football either through my Samsung mobile phone or tablet, and then using Mirroring, streamed it to my LG smart TV.

Nailed it with the pull down thing. Got motogp full size and working perfectly for nowt. Now all my computing stuff is working at one time. Hurrah.
