....at about 3 mph!! Laughing

Was out clowning around yesterday as it was dry and got lost on route. Decided to U turn in a tight residential street. As I was going round I hit a small lump of tarmac which caused the front wheel to slide away from me.

Dunno why but I thought it would be a good idea to hit the kill switch then dive UNDER the bike. All 180+ kg on top on me. I somehow managed to wriggle free then lift the bike up much to the amusement of some local kids! Embarassed

Felt like a right twat! Managed to save the bike though. Only a small mark on the fairing and a tiny, tiny scuff on the exhaust. Both polished out.

Hopefully thats my only fall of the year, better get those crash bungs fitted soon.

Yeah embaressing but remember you have a got a helmet on.
You know that funny tarmac they use in car parks, well I was in Sainsbury’s last year on a TS125.
I was doing 4-5mph in the drizzle.
Came round a corner and put on a little power, straight into a speedway style sideways turn (looked cool)_ but then bang! Onto the floor, look forward to see two young ladys on the path, they looked at me, giggled and walked away.
FFS.

I'm pissing myself at the images of some bloke in leathers diving underneath a falling bike. Laughing

Quick thinking! It killed the bike dead, I was coming off anyway and didn't want to break anything on the bike.

Landed on my side. My right elbow seems to have taken the brunt of it but I'm ok.

I tell you though, my elbow is really starting to sting now. Feels like I've thrown something the wrong way and my arm has locked out.

Still, rather that than a new fairing panel....

I think it's more than love, probably worshiping it!

Oh and also, I didn't fancy the cost of replacing a fairing panel and some other bits!

i could never love my bike too much, apart from actually humping the thing. you gotta treat them right. we got off to a rough start though. ive had this bike for ages. when i first got it, twas my first geared bike. we was just poodling along etc, and somehow i pop it into 1st, wearing the tightest jeans ever. so there was little protection between my precious, and my precious, if you know what i mean. ended up crawling on the floor in a well built up area with a bike lying on me leg. didnt half hurt though Shocked
