Who, Aloysius/007/Bikedoctor/whatever else he calls himself nowadays?

Yeah he's always been the biggest twat of the forum.
I enjoyed the spark plug fiasco but I missed the sprocket/R6/bodyguard stuff. Thanks for the heads up on enemy list he's just posting spiteful shit these days.

You realise rocking backwards and forth in your bedroom venting the same 'faggot' insult over and over is probably a sign of you having deep seated gay tendencies; probably interlinked with daddy issues.

What was it kiddo - daddy touched you, or even worse daddy didn't touch you when you wanted him to, and now you've taken to hiding behind calling people a faggot to protect your fragile little dirty gay secret?

I can afford to be stuck up chum. Especially when the retort is to a man-child knocking about in his mummy's council house.

I do like it when you give me an opportunity to give you an 'abusive'.

I'd still prefer to do you anally, though. You'll squeal like a stuck pig.

I'd honestly be surprised. It'd have to be hand-sewn to avoid perforating the water resistant layer, and cordura is a sod to sort once it starts fraying. You'd have to create a new structure from the seam well out into the sound weave.

I'm fairly handy with a semi-circular (make me own frocks, I do) but I wouldn't be offering any sort of guarantee on a cordura patch-job.

BodySocketTard doth protest too much, mind.

My RST Pro jacket fell apart after just 8 months !! took it back to dealer and got a replacement which I was told was NOT covered by any warranty as it was a replacement; wtf ? less than a year later the seam came apart at the shoulder. Should stand for Really Shit Textiles. Sad

Oh dear, people in glass houses, really, shouldn't throw stones!

No doubt you've blanked from your memory your little outbursts, from a few months ago, the ones that you had to delete, the ones I quoted for posterity!
The outbursts that saw you disappear for a few weeks then comeback with a different name, like that was, somehow, going to make any difference.
The ones you can still find using "Search", by searching for:-

"You do realise, for the above, you could be arrested"

(8th post down on page 5 for the quote)!

You really are an obnoxious little turd, you always have been and always will be!

Was with someone who tore an RST textile jacket in the shop! They seem to be a bit hit or miss.

That's the big problem with sweatshop outsourcing, random QA. If you could rely on a brand being bad, you could safely avoid it.

In mitigation, my RST Enduro horror-orange jacket is over 6 1/2 years old and still going strong. The water repellent layer isn't perfect any more, but it's still good enough most days. I guess mine was made near the start of a 16 hour shift.

However, I expect it to shred like a lettuce when I finally put its abrasion resistance to the test.

Can't find a way to contact RST on their website, it says first port of call should be the dealer you purchased the product from. *Groan* as they're not the best of shops. In the meantime I left a comment on their SlutBook page.

I may be local-ish, given your name, can you name and shame or PM me if you don't want to do it on an open forum. I don't fancy buying and getting stung/causing a scene.

The contact you are looking for is Moto Direct on 01773 864420. Its their own brand that they manufacture and distribute.

I don't think you will get very far though, if you've had the garment for over two years but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

My Frank Thomas jacket went in a similar way. Got another couple of years out of it by sewing with fishing line and liberal application of superglue.

What were you wearing when you inspected the tarmac? Review needed methinks.

Ive had 3 RST jackets 1 new two used like new and they all came apart at the seams like that, around pockets and cuffs. My Weise jackets have been half the price in discontinued sales but have yet too come apart. RST jackets in my experience are crap build quality on the stitching but they are pretty water resistant in light rain, there pants are better but they can leak quickly ( a few months).

Well I've social media'erd them with accounts I do have. Unfortunately I'm not a big user of social media. Not expecting a freebie of course but it would be interesting to see their response, if any.

Interesting how many others have had problems with RST jackets. Oh well, I'm busy searching for another jacket now ! Laughing

The £3 was for the new zip on Bodytard's jacket, rather than the OP's issue - but yeah, having looked at it on the big PC screen rather than the small one of my phone, OP's does appear a touch problematic to say the least. I'd still give it a whirl though.
