Hi new to all this. Where going to ireland this year on the ferry from holyhead. My gsxr 750 has a gp race can so isn't road legal. I am wondering if the bikes get checked to be alowed on the ferry or into Ireland? Cheers

Someone I know might have taken a bike to Ireland from Holyhead under slightly non legal circumstances once. Whistle

Zero checks were made on that occasion.

I live in Northern ireland and on the border to the republic. I cant speak for customs or any kind of check points youll be at when entering the country but youll be fine with a noisy can here, they arent very strict on them/tinted visors ect unless you give the police/garda a reason, just dont rev the balls of it everywhere and youll be fine haha !

we went over years ago and our mate had a set of scorpion cans on his tlr another mate on his cbr600 with arrow can and another mate on his gsxr with a scorpion pipe


no fucks were given

that was about 20 years ago though
