You know it's very rare that these are ever raced - got to be a good reason for that. I suspect they don't handle as well as other 400's, cos that one at BDB a couple years back was a missile in a straight line, 12.7 second 1/4 mile etc.

You can get the main parts here. Ebay is where I go for parts though.

Depends which model...

If you go for the one like mine, bloody impossible! I spent all summer chasing bits, and Dad still ended up fabricating peg hangers because we just couldn't get any to fit anywhere.

Yeah that's the same as Annabella's. GK73a right?

https://www.ridersmotorcycles.co.uk/page15.html This is the proper link then. That one I posted above was for the GK76a, which is the 1990> bike.

Most of them take RGV parts (except for the engine of course!)

They handle well, but are mainly not raced as its cheaper and easier to get the RGV which handles a little better and is far cheaper to tune to race spec.

The 1989 is the 73a...

I struggled to get parts, really struggled, but the toil is worth it. The bike handles brilliantly, the response is fast - I find it much easier to corner due to the weight distribution.

If anyone wants some R and G crash bungs for the GK76a, put your name down in the GSXR section at www.400greybike.co.uk, thw guy organising it needs 10 to go ahead, 3 or 4 more needed I think.
