Hello people.
can anyone tell/show me in very easy baby steps how to get a Google image onto a reply please.
Obviously copy any paste doesn`t work as when I do this, all I get is a wall of text?
What am I doing wrong?

Thank you Thumbs Up

Using chrome it's rclick on image - copy image address - paste - remove the 's' from https if it has one.

The way I do it is to right click/click on 'view image' so the picture is displayed in the address bar ending with 'jpg' or some other format.

Highlight and copy that address and then go to imgur.com (other image hosts are available) and upload it there. If you post the direct address in your reply it might get blocked by the host for 'hotlinking'.

Paste the url for the picture into the image host and do the old 'view image' thing once it's uploaded and get that URL.

Then in the reply use the command [img]URL[/img] or highlight the URL once you've put it in your reply and click the Img button.

Don't have to remove the S anymore

Also if you quote a post you can see the img URL, so you just need to get the direct image link which should end in .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png or other then use that as an example

Code:

Great, hopefully that'll shake owner confidence and cause the resale market to collapse Praying

I've fond google images a pain in the arse to use, however if I use bing, they pretty well all seem to be jpegs which work fine. Thumbs Up

That is the sum total of my image pasting....
