...you're my only hope.

Well, not really, but I'm after a particular album to download that as far as I can tell was only on vinyl and cassette -

https://www.discogs.com/The-Moody-Blues-Out-Of-This-World/release/527962

My torrent bookmarks are all out of date shite at the moment, so what is the current go-to search site?

I've already got all the tracks separately, but I'm particularly fond of this mix of versions, and my cassette is long dead.

There is a discography here, but it does not contain Out Of This World... Sorry.

I have it on vinyl (along with most of the rest of the Moody Blues discography).

Why that one in particular? It's effectively just a "greatest hits" compilation.

The main thing I like about the Moody blues albums is that they are coherant pieces of work on a theme and best listened to from start to finish.

Amongst other things, that particular mix has a version of Question that doesn't have the big orchestra hits in the intro, nor are they "echoed" at the end. Since this album was the first time I heard it, other versions just don't sound right, even after all this time.

Sorry, while I've got everything I own ripped to MP3 and have most of the stuff that's floating around on the net, that isn't something I've seen.

I feel your pain though, there are a couple of Curved Air and Steeleye Span tracks that I'm the same with - "but that's not what it's supposed to sound like!".

See if each track is on YouTube and then rip from there.

In terms of ripping music I still miss we7/blinkbox music. They didn't have everything but it was 192kbps so good enough quality to steal. Soundcloud's 128 which's too low IMO.

Turns out that Soulseek is still a thing. I searched on SoulseekQT and within seconds tons of results come up. This guy seems to have a lot:

I tried Soulseek, only one user with Out Of This World as a result, completely different track list, and 96kbps.

Looks like someone's put their own compilation together, and is the later version. The closest I've found is this live version, over a studio track :-
