Hi ladies and gents.

I've recently had my yzfr125 stolen and had no luck getting it back so I was forced to buy a pulse adrenaline which might I add sucks.

So I woke up today to go to work and realise my headlight cover has been snapped off and my wires are hanging out and I can see that the only wires cut are the ones coming out of the ignition barrel does anybody actually know what these wires are and how much they cost as it seems easy enough to fix.

Seems like someone may have tried to hot wire it.

Wires have been cut in an attempt to bypass the use of the key to start the bike.

They might have blown some fuses in the process hence your bike still there?

I'm no mechanic but this is just a guess.

Is the "cut" part on the ignition switch side, or the wiring loom side?

If it was me, I would cut the connector block off completely, cut any frayed ends off the wires (the damage that the person did), strip the wires back, and solder in wire of the same gauge so that there's still enough free play.

Cost depends more on someone's time, and getting out to you, rather than any parts.

Maybe worth asking if someone on here is nearby to help.

As said before, the wires of one side of that white block will be going to the ignition switch. The other side will be going to the wiring loom.

Someone has definitely tried to hotwire it.

Anyone that can solder should be able to repair it.

Any reason why you aren't using your insurance to fix this insignificant problem?

You need some of these:

And one of these:

And a wiring diagram.
