Hi BCF people

I am a long time lurker of the forums (mainly for researching various fixes to my old arse Ducati Monster 600) but have never posted.

I thought that this would change today! I wanted to make a thread that people looking to get into motovlogging could join, share ideas, introduce themselves and ask me any questions about it!

About me: So I'm a new-ish motovlogger to the intwerwebs (been consistently posting for about 7 months) and am coming up to 1000 subscribers. I am based in the Southern part of the UK in between Brighton and London.

There are few more depressing phrases (or perhaps it's a portmanteau?) than Motovlogger.

I've said this a number of times before but I'll say it again. Why take something as interesting, exciting and life affirming as motorcycling and film it, making it as dull as hell in the process? I've never seen anything original on these channels, and even the 'good' ones like BvG and RoyalJordanian just make me yawn.

Not only that, you have the brass neck to come on here and attempt to promote your channel in your first post when it is patently against the rules?

If you think that's harsh I suggest you wait as you might well be in for much worse.

Honestly though, it is a growing thing that MANY people are super interested in - so I really do not see why you lovely people are slammin' on it.

This is Bike Chat Forum, is it not? Anything related to motorcycles goes in here. Just because its not what you guys enjoy does not mean it should not be posted and talked about.

I posted this is as there may be genuinely people interested in it, and I hopefully have some credibility (or at least growing credibility) to talk about it, considering how many channels die or never make it past 100 followers.

People don't like it because what you've done is sign up and offer nothing other than a thread looking for extra followers/views.

If you'd spent a bit of time actually giving something noteworthy to the forums, well you'd still get abused the moment you posted a begging thread but you'd be viewed as a little less of a spunk trumpet.
