Hi new to all this. Where going to ireland this year on the ferry from holyhead. My gsxr 750 has a gp race can so isn't road legal. I am wondering if the bikes get checked to be alowed on the ferry or into Ireland? Cheers

The answer is no, I travel to Ireland by bike often enough. The only thing that you may encounter is a quick passport check... which they wont do when they see you on a bike lol they will nod you on.

The Gardai may pull you over if its crazy obnoxious but honestly I wouldnt worry Mr. Green

I can't imagine the Irish would be bothered. The Manx, French and Dutch aren't IME.
