Had some new HH Sintered front pads put on my bike a few weeks ago and all they seem to do is squeak when riding slowly.
Disks seem fine, but the noise they make is way too loud and annoying. Any suggestions?
Had the pads fitted by local dealer as they were doing the braided hoses aswell. |

A few thoughts without knowing the bike:
When fitting new pads I was always told to sand down the discs as well to remove any glaze that's built up.
Were the anti-rattle springs refitted?
Any copper grease on the back of the pads?
Pads will need to bed into the disks. Should have done this though as you said a couple of weeks. How much riding in that time? ____________________ ...and the whirlwind is in the thorn trees, it's hard for thee to kick against the pricks...

Its more than likely crap (Probably Grit salt) on the pads / disk. I found that cleaning my disks with white spirit sorted them out
Thats why I like to fit my pads myself, that way I can see exactly what I have done rather than hope the garage do it right. Alot of garages cut corners (I.e. dont bother with copper slip) I kno... I worked as a saturday lad in a garage for 2 years and the stuff I saw put me off taking my bike / car into a garage ever again!

Tried pushing the bike backwards but hasn't worked. Will try the other options on the weekend
Only cost me £25 to get the braided hoses and pads fitted so thought I might as well as it's fookin cold out there to be sitting outside fixing brakes! |
