If I actually wanted my bike back, I wouldn't waste my time and money fitting anything other than Bike Trac.
If they don't offer coverage in the countries that you're actually interested in ("Europe" is a wide, wide place) then I can't imagine that you'll have much luck persuading the local BundesGendarmes to whistle up a warrant and start putting doors in, even if you talk VERY LOUDLY AND SLOWLY. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Supposedly very, fortunately I haven't had to use my biketrac service for recovery yet, but my understanding is their tracking technology is good enough to get the police onsite with a warrant in a short amount of time once they've located the bike. Believe last years recovery rate was 92%

I have BikeTrac and it worked in Europe with no problems, if you go anywhere involving a ferry trip or train just make sure it doesnt get set off. Either check online or call them up otherwise they will start ringing you or your nominated person repeatedly until they find out whats happened.
Expensive kit but well worth it in my opinion ____________________ Theory test - 19/8/09, CBT - 11/10/09, MOD 1 - 16/8/10, MOD 2 - 27/10/10
