I went yesterday to Boston to meet Dan from this forum to have a look at the SV650s he was selling. I'm still new to biking (and haven't had the weather for a bloody test - 2 cancelled for bad weather this year so far), so I took along my Father-in-Law who is a life-long biker.

He did the mechanical checks for me and I went for a ride as pillion with a guy I'd never met before Laughing

After a bit of thinking (maybe 6 or 7 seconds) I decided to go for it... So here it is:

This is the only pic I have, seeing as we didn't get back til 7 pm and it was dark and snowing again. Will get some pics up when the weather turns out better.

Just FYI, I'm not just an observer anymore, I have my own ride Dance!

wow, she's a bute! Cracking colour. I keep telling myself that I should get a 1200cc bike next but the sv's keep knocking some sense into me and make me want one!

Does this mean you're not going to go on the back of dodsi's er5 now? Razz Very Happy

Cool how we've both got Suzuki 600+'s! Mr. Green Will have to pop over at some point to see it, just as soon as we get some nicer weather and I'm insured on mine. Smile

Dodsi's bike took a hammering the day him and me were on it, poor suspension! Laughing

Nice, I almost bought that exact SV myself but the bloke buying my WR at the time didn't turn up to buy it so I changed my mind about it Sad

Did you go for his full asking or did you get him down some more?

It's just had a service and valve checks so should be in pretty good shape
