I'd say there's nothing wrong with it. Checking the Czech market, they go between £4,500 and £5,500 here.

Go and have a look at it. Being 2013 model, this might push the price down a bit. Look at other MT-09 motorcycles on fleabay, all go for quite the same money. Thumbs Up

Probably breaks C&U with the wheel being furthest part of the bike but aside from that, just the bouncy suspension, so budget for that and a remap.

In all honesty, looks like a stonking deal if its legit, I notice its from Gravesend though, nothing good comes from Gravesend but Pete. Laughing

It's (actually) priced to sell, is all.

Taxed, MOT'd, insured, AutoTrader doesn't show it as written off. Seller might be operating as a dodgy trader, but you're buying the bike, not a life long relationship.

Quick before Paddy has it.

If you Google the telephone number, the seller has tried to sell another motorcycle they'd not owned long with a similar story of 'need space' etc. Ordinarily that'd make me twitchy - might be nothing in it, though.

good spot arry. something doesn't smell right here... I'll skip on this. Last thing I need right now is more bike related drama.

Wisebuyers says £4,360 for a private sale so it's potentially over priced. The strange issue appears to be the reason for sale, after only a couple of weeks - "can't fault it but I need the space for another bike"

I think this one's nicer and a 14plate 7500miles.
I really must tail tidy mine this year.

I try to insist on buying a bike that has most if not all of the upgrades I'd like to do already done to it. Things like alarm, crash bungs, tail tidies, loud pipe etc.

I know this limits my search but knowing myself I will end up shelling out silly money on doing those bits, so if they're already done then it works out cheaper.

Last couple bikes had been nicely kitted out and I paid pretty much market price for stock versions. So here's hoping!

Bear in mind that Yamaha have sold close to 3000 MT-09s (and another 2400 Tracers) so there will be a fair few hitting the used market. It's not like sellers have the whip hand any more, or at least not for long.

I'd see it as legit seller who is running his non legit business saving the pennies from the Man.

I'd buy it.

That means nothing, BUT... I'd buy if I cared about anything remotely serious.

To be fair though, that's the same one Arry spotted

It being the old model of MT-09 will also be another reason its cheap.

Compared to bikes of the same age/mileage/condition it's very cheap, which is why it's legitimacy is questionable.

Also, with all the little extras, any sane seller will price those in and then haggle down.
