That would be my Leovince Race Can
Picked it up from Busters, got a discount beacuse im a Hornets Nest member £150 with postage.
Well chuffed with it, Really well made and a nice sound, is nice at Tickover but gets really loud at High revs.

very nice mate! I love the sound of your bike and I have to say I have never seen a 600 hornet go like that before! how long have you been practicing wheelies for? I have been trying to do one every here and there but still can't hold my nerve to lift the wheel up ____________________ Those bloody footpegs......they ought to do away with em! |

Derestricted my bike this time las year and used to watch the front come up for like a second when i chopped the throttle in first. I didnt intend to start pulling wheelies everywhere i go, jus became kind of a habit from traffic lights, in about may last year i was trying to pull them quite a lot and stretched my chain, i knew it needed a new one but kinda put it off, then eventually the chain snapped while i was overtaking at about 50mph and took a nice chunk of my crankcase with it, honda dealer quoted me £1500+ for crankcase and labour etc, ended up buying a new engine for £180 from someone off of the Hornets nest, but not actually needing it. I gave the Engine and my bike to one of my dads mates to fit it and he drilled into the crankcase and put a new bolt in which fixed it. So i have a spare engine in my garage if i need it. Was about 2 months before i got my bike back and i thought as i got a new chain i would get new sprockets too. heard about downgearing and decided i wanted to do it to my bike. Went one down on the front and three up at the back. Since downgearing the front would come up off the throttle but was quite jerky, so tried clutching in 2nd and it came up really smoothly, so started doing that all the time. Clutching at 6k revs at about 40mph, comes up really smoothly and theres just enough power to keep it up til the limiter in 2nd, have attempted to crunch into third but i dont think the bike has enough power to keep it up. Have couple of times gone front first into second by wheelying but that usually ends with a crunch (hurts my balls wen u fuck it up too ). Dont really do first gear ones anymore as i think i'll flip it, and i have more control over the wheelie in 2nd. Was off the road 4 months last year 2 being banned for speeding and 2 for my crankcase. Havent come off yet touch wood. Just keep practicing til you find the balance point. ____________________ is that it |
