As per the title really, looking for a big comfy road going moto. This seems to fit the bill and is reasonably priced. I've heard MZ's are reliable...am I going to be able to source any parts?

Got one. Like it a lot.

Simple laugh a minute fun bikes that tend to bring out the hooligan in you Twisted Evil

Handles well. Stops well. Great for A and B road blasting.

Seat is a bit high if you are on the short side but still manageable. Gives you a nice high position for traffic though. Pillion is cramped.

Parts are fine - engine is Yamaha and bullet proof. Plastics are Acerbis. Specialist suppliers such as Grahams in Taunton for anything specific.

Gloucester MZ owners club if you are in to that sort of thing

Thanks for the info. I’m fine doing my own servicing, so as long as it’s reliable I could live with the rarity.
I’m in Gloucestershire so that would be handy having people close by who know a thing or two.
My commute is 25 minutes of country roads so I’m initially not looking to go on huge trips but I would like to do something decent on it, if I like the bike.
People have mentioned about the noise factor etc when getting it up to near a ton, not that I want to do that everywhere but does this mean motorway riding is a nightmare?

I’m 5’10, so I guess this’ll mean I’m on tip toes?

edit: Is there actually any big thumper that likes top speeds?
