Theres also other ones like the Yamaha TZR50 and the MotorHispania RX50. No need to ask about performance though as they all, apart from one or two, run on the same engine. Its all pretty much what you prefer the look of.
Big list of 50cc's can be found https://www.50cc-motorcycles.com/ there. Helpful site. ____________________ Aprilia RSV Mille R Edwards Replica - Aprilia RS250 - Suzuki GSXR600 Supersport Race Bike |

I have to agree with Steve there. Do not spend a lot on a 50cc because as he said you might fall off it and cause hundreds of pounds worth of damage and you will probably end up selling it after a year. I paid £350 for my 50cc with £250 tpft insurance. Its cheap to run and reliable and leaves me with more money to put towards a bigger bike. I have fallen off it once, quite a bad fall, but with not much fairing, damage was nothing major, £60 worth of parts thats all.
But at the end of the day its your decision. RX50, RS50, TZR50, GPR50, Reiju RS1 and RS2 and the Cagiva Prima 50 (a 50cc Mito basically) are all the modern sports bikes. But there are older bikes which are quite decent like the Kwak AR50, Yamaha DT50, Suzuki TS50, Derbi Senda, Honda MT50. If you are interested in scooters then go for an Aprilia SR50, Gilera Runner, Piaggio NRG or a Yamaha Aerox.

Mine cost me £350 and I wouldn't call that a pile of sh*t in reliability terms. Has never broken down on me and had no problems at all with it. Does the job fine. On the other hand, it does look like a pile of sh*t. My bike is the one in my avatar. ____________________ Honda MBX50 | Yamaha RD125LC | Suzuki RG125F Lucky Strike | Suzuki GSF600S

Id go for the RS50! They are super reliable and they do 90mph when they are RESTRICTED! and 110mph DERESTRICTED!!!!!
Also If you get the RS125 it will do 100mph RESTRICTED and 150mph+ DERESTRICTED!
I have a mate who has an RS125 which does 150mph with two people!
Defonatly got for an RS mate!

Not bein funny mate, but why worry about what youre gettin, if you're gonna keep it restricted?
As long as you Keep 'L' plates on it and dont ride like at Tit through 20 and 30 limits, you'll be alright, and i very much doubt that any coppers know what the law is on 50cc's any way! Ive been pulled over twice in a Year on my de-restricted Aerox 50, and havnt had any trouble! Half the coppers think its a 125! Thats the mentality of the modern day copper, half of em dont know what a motorbike is, let alone speeds/legalities!
Also, if you go for a second hand one, of any of the ones that have already been listed above, your gonna find it bloody hard to get hold of one that IS still restricted.
Hope i havent offended anyone, but these are just my views. ____________________ Its still restricted officer.... Honest! |

my first bike, piaggio zip , paid 50 pound for it, replaced a couple of pannels and sprayed it up, and about 3 month after i crashed it, stupid noobish mistake of taking a corner too wide, panicking and jumping on brakes, but id already built up a collection of spares, touched it up and was all dandy again.
Glad i didnt spend loads as its not worth it, even if i sell it for 300 pound thats still around 250 pound profit, simply just dont spend alot.
For 50 quid i thought my ped was the dogs, the faces of some people that had spent over a grand for theres when i told them was great
