Where do you live?
If London then through the frame is probably the best way to go.
The anti-pinch pins Dave refers to are sold by these guys: https://securityforbikes.com/anti-pinch-pin.php
I can vouch for their chains too, on my cheaper chains when attacked they always showed huge gouges.
On my Pragmasis chains I only noticed damage to the sleeve and slight scratching on the links, had to look hard too.
If not London, I've lived in some seriously shitty areas, and had more attacks on my bikes outside than I can count (so at least more than 9) and they've always attacked the chain.
Nobody has ever attempted to take the wheels off and carry her away.
Even with a light CB500 or CG125.
I doubt anyone is going to carry 211kg of Kwak (less wheel weight) when there are nicer bikes with less security. ____________________ The above post is most likely nonsensical.
I ride a Bandit 600... badly.

Old Thread Alert!
The last post was made 7 years, 6 days ago. Instead of replying here, would creating a new thread be more useful? |
