Replaced my HTC One M7 and it's terrible battery life (after nearly 4 years)with a WileyFox Storm (and its not as bad but still not great battery life). A really good phone, but it is let down with the battery.
Also, Wifes birthday, so multiple cards, flowers and presents. Furthermore, it was our anniversary the day after, so Perfume, DVD and more cards.
My bike died on the way home from work on Thursday, and further testing shows the batters is kaput. £40 for a replacement from Halford.
Oh, and a Nintendo Switch (and a couple of games) for the kids birthday at the end of the month. I am skint now. ____________________ thx1138 wrote: Well if you had a car, I'd bet it would smell like urine had had drunken sex with vomit and made a poo baby.

I'm about the tightest person alive, but having wasted a weekend pissing around with it and snapped two pieces of M10 rod it was a choice between this, or three BMW specific tools at ~£70 each.
Just hoping this will actually do the job!
How on earth they managed to release a design which on the subframe has:
4 subframe bushes
3 diff bushes
4 lower arm bushes
All pressed in, as well as two anti roll bar bushes which are impossible to replace on the car and another rosejoint and bush in each upright
I'll never know. Most other manufacturers seem to manage to bush the control arms, or provide bushes in bolt on housings. |
Aaah...take your point.
Maybe they make it complicated just so people get put off and take it to the dealer.

E90 BMW saloon.
I dont think its anything devious, I suspect it's optimised for assembly at the factory where the bushes are installed by machine, the entire rear end assembled and then lifted into place and 4 bolts done up.
For most people it's not an issue, they last 150k miles by which times its a banger and you replace the two rosejoints that will fail an MOT and ignore the rest.
Unfortunately Im not like most people, so I got an advisory for two joints on the MOT and pulled the whole back end for a refresh
Not the first car I've done and probably wont be the last, but everything gets bigger year on year and suddenly you need 21 and 24mm sockets for actual fasteners and your 32mm socket isnt enough for pulling in the new bushes |

The lads at work have worked their arses off the last 2 days to fulfil a huge high profile order then stopped on late to do a stock check.
So I bought them pizza!

Never mind the altruism Mr Fisty. You may be chucking dog food and pizza around to the needy. But you still owe BCF. ____________________ Currently enjoying products from Ford, Mazda and Yamaha
