So............ I uploaded stuff all the time on BCF but then i had a few years break. Since that time i have had ermmmmm hundreds of bikes so i thought i would start upload a few snaps again.

I randomly picked up this Z250SL as i love riding smaller capacity bikes (bigger than 125cc but smaller than 600cc).

Its a 65 Plate with only 400 miles on the clocks that i bought from a nice old man in Doncaster. He bought it and realised he did not have the time to use it so he let me have it for 2k.

Its only 32 bhp but has a wet weight of 148kg so the low power is not that much of an issue. It sees to pull through the first 4 gears well and will get you swiftly to 80mph and will hit 95mph with the wind behind you which i tested on the local air strip.

Its actual is very stable at high speed and copes with the bumps in the road quite well but the narrow tyres don't give me confidence to try and chive a knee down.

Glad to hear about another person who is interested in riding bikes in the 250-600 bracket Thumbs Up

How do you use your bike? Just short trips or longer trips as well?.

I use my bikes for fun and the occasional commute. I am just a bit disappointed the nearly all the lower cc bikes are budget machines with non adjustable suspension.

The last 250cc bike I had was a CBF250 and I enjoyed taking it on smaller roads but this seems to be able to cope with national speed limit roads well as I was safely able to overtake cars.

The tiny 11 litre tank is a bit annoying as the bike only does about 115miles to a tank. Most smaller bikes can go for nearly 200 miles.

Looks fun. If like a250 to replace !t CG when it eventually gets tatty.
