Yesterday I left my nitric orange hunny outside because it was only for a couple of hours before I was due to go out and ride it again and I thought meh the effort just to do it all again and get it out? ... I get instant text notification as soon as the bike is even nudged what's the worst that could happen- who could be ballsy enough in broad daylight on someone's drive?
Indeed nothing happened. Wednesday was a very good day for Arcane1729.

Today I was about to go and ride it and I thought I might as well clean and lube the chain because it was getting gunky. was going well too- 10 mins into the job there's a loud akrapovic exhaust but I could tell it was a scooter coming down the road- I started to sweat because I only know three kinds of scooter riders- the kind who find it economical to own, the kind who just appreciate them (I saw a huge rally of vespas once) and the cunts as we all know who have no choice.
Neither of the former two have incentive for a loud exhaust.

The motherfucker (L plated) then pulls up not outside my drive but the one to the left of mine with his back wheel just past my drive. I was on the floor next to the paddock stand with a dirty cloth. Thought it must be a huge coincidence- surely he's looking for directions on his phone? - the house is on a street just off a huge road so he turned in at nearest junction to check. Nope. Ok- a car's coming the other way and our street is narrow- maybe he's giving way...
No no no- car's pulling out somewhere or reversing? Crane my neck- nothing of the sort- the nearest parked cars are exactly the same as before.
He just sits there- turns his head all the way behind at me on the floor then at my bike and telepathically says "I want your bike"
I then stare back and respond in my head with "I know you want my bike you cunt"
Stare lasts what feels like eternity even though 5 seconds and he realises when I completely stopped what I was doing to simply just stare that I knew what was up
(I was previously engrossed with the chain and was looking at it while spraying and wiping)
and he just fucks off with that ridiculous exhaust. He knew exactly where to stop because of the day before I believe. Such a sudden sudden and specific stop.
I know I shouldn't get scared- this is what this whole security thing is for- there's no point if I can't have confidence in it when it's about to get tested. I'm not mad with myself for leaving it out because if I didn't do it yesterday I would have done so at some point when I felt at ease that nothing had happened in so long.
Every time I thought about it for the rest of the day I got the urge to find and stab him to death- I kept thinking I wish I started the bike up and followed him (but I obviously don't)
I also know the rat isn't a pro so I'm not too worried because what I have is more than enough to put it off (this one's gonna be some tough bounty to catch for the little bastards this time)... but that was a nice wake up call- Birmingham has welcomed me back!

Look at it positively. Getting slung in a canal or set on fire is a more dignified passage to Valhalla then rusting away under a cover minus it's front end waiting for the council to arrange disposal.

They had a good laugh at me riding my bike into a ditch the other day. They will probably laugh again as I'm
collecting it later after the necessary repairs and will be 500 quid worse off for the privilege. I only hope to get it
past the River Avon without riding into the fucker. This is a forum of pisstakers, that's exactly why I like it.
Makes you realise that the unfortunate things are a bit easier to swallow if you can just have a bit of laugh about them.
I have to go on the bus to collect it in full kit. That should raise a few eyebrows. May wear full black kit and my black
lid with black visor and 'Black Stig' my bus ride to Fowlers just for the laffs.
