I never had much trouble with the alarm alone, but with the pager system it'll kill the battery in about 10 days if the bike's not used, especially at this time of year when it's cold.
Solution? Ride it once a week.
If I had mains power in the garage I'd get an Optimate, but I don't so I just ride it to charge it and use my jump starter to get it going if need be. Isn't a problem in summer cos I use the bike much more often. |

Mine lasts about 3 weeks without charge and thats with a Meta 357 Alarm and immobilisor on it. Thankfully I now have an optimate to keep my battery charged until I can ride it. ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it.
