Just been given a speeding fine totalling £315 made up of a £200 fine £85 costs and a
£30 victim surcharge Wtf there were no fecking victims unless you include all the kittens killed,
where the fuck does that £30 go! Twisted Evil

It is for all victims of crime as a collective, but I think it should be part of the fine and not charged separately as you have to pay it. The charge just makes it looks like the buggers care about the kittens.

Giggles: the parents of an offender under 18 are liable to pay the surcharge on behalf of Pikey Junior even if they're the victim of the crime.

You mean you were convicted by a magistrates court?

VIctim surcharge goes to one of the 'victims of crime' support groups / companies / whatever. The fact there was no victim in your offence is besides the point.

So I've paid the fine just got in tonight to find a Further steps notice threatening to clamp remove and sell my vehicle and possibly send me to prison to get raped for non payment of said fine.
What a bunch of fucking incompetent tossers they've even sent me a fucking receipt for payment Twisted Evil

So, steal a bike, remove plate, don't tax or insure it and preferably ride without a lid. You can save many £££ and po po won't bother chasing you for fines or any other criminal activity. It's a win win situation. Sad
