Or only if you don't understand the difference between an ST1300, which (apparently) had the death weave in fully loaded Plod spec, and an ST1100 which the OP has bought. Those are solid and stable at a ton plus.

Thanks for the replies guys. :-) "Optimised pan" was just the file name of the picture. Had to optimise the file size to upload.

I read a bit about the "Death wobble" on the ST1300's and it seems to be related to tyres more than anything. I'm too old to go that fast anyway....Honest I am :wink:

Because without doubt the owner is going to let him strip the swingarm off the bike before buying just to check.

You probably mean the splines the wheel goes onto, same as above.

Hi. The seller included a picture of the swing-arm in the listing and it all looked good. I have a check over when I picked it up and all appears to be well.

Just ridden it for the first time and its brilliant. I'm 6ft 4 tall and about the same wide :D so the bike fits me perfectly.
