As above, depends on how strong the garage door and frame are.

They didn't stop my garage being broken into so I don't recommend them.

I don't buy into the idea that relatively simple security measures make it more likely to be broken into. I use a Garage Defender now and whilst having one of those does says that there might be something valuable in the garage but it'd be more hassle to get around than those sliding bolts.

I use them. Keyholes on the outside, but painted to match the garage door so they're not obvious to a drive-by pikey "joist looking fur ony scrap metal, yoi huv ony?"

I have them.

Can't say I've had anyone trying to test them, but they seem decent enough. I suspect it'd be easier to break the door than cut the bolts.

I have a garage defender and touch wood, not had anyone attempt to break in yet.

But I'm sure Paddy will pipe up shortly to say that's because my bike isn't quick enough.

When I get the Panigale next month I will also to using a ground anchor inside the garage too.

I have those locks and they saved my bike 2 years back (find pic when i get home), the fuckers bent the door up onto the locks (fitted about a foot from the ground) and were using my garden gate to pull against trying to twist the door to break them.

The locks held but the door and frame were shagged after and they had been pulling so hard against my garden gate they damaged the wall the gate was attached to.

Well worth the investment...i replaced mine like for like altho this time i have put 2 sets in, 1 set about 6 inches from the bottom and the other pair 6 inches from the top of the door.

Ordered. I see several potential weaknesses in the design but Im sure it will do the job.

Doors are bendy, mine was opened before like that, but nothing taken. It will be reinforced by steel tube.

I'd have a good look at the garage door and frame before worrying too much about extra locks.
I'm sure they're probably good locks but most garage doors are so weak that you could fold a corner up without too much problem...
