What are these bikes like? As good as the NC30? I have seen one as a project bike that well looks very nice, so again thoughts are going through my head. . .

Tell me more!

robby is the NC24 man

i can tell you now he wont have too much positive to say though

general advice from people i would expect to be, to avoid it, and go for the 30, the 24 is that little bit too old

Robby had a bad one and can probably tell you all the areas to look out for, Mine however is just fantastic, never had a problem. goes like shit off a shovel, and is lightweight in the corners.

The only thing to be wary of is that parts are harder to come by..

Cheers

NC24 Laughing

No. Just no.

Nothing good to say about it, apart from making a profit on it, and that was down to the buyers ignorance, not the bike being any good.

If you must have a honda V4, go for the Nc30 or 35. If you must have a grey import 400, go for a CBR400 or ZXR400.

However, if you can avoid grey 400s, do. Despite the positive raving you'll read on the forum, most of the owners have had a fairly major problem you wouldn't expect to have on a decent UK sourced 600.

Can you not give it a rest you are getting boring robby , I for one would not con a first time buyer , You sold a Dangerous unroadworthy bike to me saying it was fine , Yes it was my fault for buying it , but I made the mistake of thinking you were a genuine seller and honest (dear god).

By the way I was not a member of these forum's when I brought the bike . I was just a newbie who had passed his test and was looking forward to getting a bigger and better bike than my 125 scooter which I had previously. Now can you just stop rubbing it in everytime you have a chance to , you are being bang out of order . Just search his post's if you do not believe me . GET A LIFE Thumbs Down

My NC24 is the bees knees! no problems at all, just make sure (like any bike) you give it the love and attension it deserves. People slagging them off saying 'they are unreliable' have obviously bought neglected ones. They're a solid motor, bags of fun, still look great considering they're like 15 years old, and u can pick a good one up for around £800. Watch out for re-sprayed versions, they're normally crashed repaired! I was lucky, mine was in great condition, just needed a minor service which I did myself. It only cost me £650 (the guy was skint!), bargin!

Don't be afraid of a 600 as a first bike, 33bhp is 33bhp, unless it isn't, obviously.

I got off a 125 onto a 600, love it. The couple of 400s I ride with just look so....unstable? I prefer having the physically bigger bike even though I may be down on power because I'm restricted.

The restrictors come out soon though Twisted Evil

I had a NC24 for a while, had a lot of fun on it.

Not quite as good as the NC30s as far as I know, but better than the NC21s because it doesn't have a stupid, heavy and pointless single sided swinger.

For what you pay for these now a days they are a good buy. Penny Coin Penny Coin
