Help Finding a Motorcycling Rucksack

Hello,

About 12 years ago, there was a Motorcycling magazine (Think it was called Two?) , which I had a subscription and for doing so you got a free rucksack.

I have used the rucksack daily (I commute) {Also for walking} since then and it has been excellent, there are lots of compartments, side pockets and a laptop pouch.

Now the zips are going, some pockets I can no longer open and it needs replacing.

The company that made it was called Ultimate. The bag also came with a drinks bottle and that is labelled as ultimate direction inc.
This company exists.

What I am basically looking for is to buy the same bag, I can’t fault it, it’s totally waterproofs and can carry lots, the pockets are so useful.

Has anyone any idea? I’ve obviously looked on the web including Ultimate incs website, but I can’t see anything.
Or could someone recommend something similar, the material is canvas type.

I got an Ogio BMX rucksack. It's not waterproof but it has useful motorcycling features such as tiny protected pockets with gussets that stop things falling out if you leave the pockets open, water bottle carriers, a clip for my keys and a laptop protective pouch. I actually have two, one as a work bag and one as a personal bag.

They were both cheaper than ALL of the rucksacks on the MCN page. It seems Ogio also do rucksacks for motorcycling too...

Now I dont do 200 mph everywhere, just commuting, but I have had one of these for years with no issues,

Check the Lowe Alpine stuff, they are proper rucksacks not shitty school backpacks.

They're not cheap but not overly priced either.

And as far as I know they are all weather proofed.

5 years ago, I bought a second hand Kriega R35 for about £70 on eBay. It's been brilliant, and I doubt it'll be replaced any time soon.

It does have a fair few pockets, but might have one or two less than what you're used to. Very high quality though, and surprisingly roomy. Zips seem indestructible.

Maybe worth looking at?

Still not sure. Was really hoping I could find the same bag.

Tbh Price is not really an issue, i've bought cheap before and ended up paying more, so I would rather buy a quality item.

If you want quality, look at the 511 tactical range - excellent stuff.

Soft lined pockets for gadgets, soft lined sunglasses pocket. Will take a
Water bladder if wanted.

Pockets within pockets to keep things separate and organised.

Best of all tough as old boots - had mine 5 years and it doesn't need replacing at all.
I bought one from strong reccomendation and really don't regret it.

It has a water repellant coating, you can re-apply it as it ages if required.

Mine has never let water in when I have cycled around in heavy rain. But I have never tested it more than this.

Comes with a built in back protector, built in rain cover (it's already pretty waterproof before you pull that over!) and it's really comfy on the bike.

Not cheap, though.
