Ive been enjoying riding after too many years off of 2 wheels, and im not sure if im not used to the bike or the saddle needs work, but after a few miles my plums really ache.

is this a common problem? ( i don’t recall having this concern when dispatch riding)

If so what is the solution?

I’ve tried different underwear and trousers, an no i don’t have a medical issue...

Not sure if its a common problem, but they certainly hurt after an old man takes you out.

Have you tried rubbing your genitals on a sheep? I find a sheep-rind adds a touch of comfort to crude suspension.

I think the seating position can cause this issue, although I've never heard of it on a bike before.
However I have heard of this in cars before.
A friend had this with a VW Golf, which he ended up curing by using a cushion to slightly alter the seating position.
I can't remember if he used a lumber roll or wedge cushion or what (it was 25 years back...).
You could try an air cushion or (as the borg suggests) a sheepskin...

Have a look at the AirHawk seat covers. The are inflatable and comfy.

Adds about an inch of height to the seat, so not ideal if you struggle to reach the ground with your feet.

Haven't looked up where you are, but if you're near me, you're welcome to try mine out for a few days.

I find that if I'm wearing jeans then they're a little sore afterwards, but if I'm in my two piece leathers I'm perfectly fine. Maybe have a look at your attire?
