So I took my Honda CBF125 in for its first major service. It has a GI PRO X type with WSS.

It worked perfectly fine before the device but ever since that it hasn't at all. The mechanics said they are a pain in the ass so I should try fix it myself?

It powers up fine and goes into learning mode where it flashes L with the ignition on. Once I start the engine it flashes even faster and then changes to 1 that slowly flashes. I know how to program it but the 1 just won't change to U for up or into a 2 no matter how many RPM I put in for any length of time.

Any ideas what could of gone wrong in the service? The WSS hasn't be moved at all

Thanks

I have only used the plug and play versions which are brilliant.

I have reset it and it continues to do the same thing each time. It won't register the first gear at all. In the video the 1 starts to flash faster as he hold the revs then tells him to change up to register the next gear but mine just flashes at the normal steady speed. Almost like it won't register the revs.

this isn't a diagnosis, but it suggest to me, it's either a broken GI, or the sensor (or the wiring connecting it) that sends the crank speed info to the GI is buggered?

Mechanincs said PIA?

I fitted one to a Kawasaki ER6F.
It was very Plug and Play and never failed.

Have you emailed the retailers for help?
