I love my bike. But when I was riding it, it felt lumpy and backfired a lot when you let go of the throttle.
I Googled it and found that several people have had this issue and some had changed the resistor from a 4.3K Ohm to a 10K Ohm. I have no idea what any of this means, but as the part was 19p from Maplin, I decided to see if it'd work.
I got local garage man to fit it for me as my bike was in for MOT anyway. And what an incredible difference it's made.
It's smoother whilst accelerating and slowing down, through all revs. It backfired once slightly where it used to do it 20-odd times on the same journey.
Before, it felt like a diesel. Now it feels so much more normal. I'm loving my bike even more.

I've still not idea what I've actually done. But so far I'm very pleased that I've done it (or local garage man did.)
